El aneurisma del chico punk: INTRO

Es una soleada tarde de lunes y me siento frente a mi PC a escribir esta introducción, tratando de sugerirte que sí o sí visites este blog mañana. ¿Por qué mañana? Bueno, es que empieza mi nuevo cómic llamado El aneurisma del chico punk, tal y como fui promocionando hace dos semanas. Pero la verdad es que no tengo mucho que contar. O sea sí, tengo bastante que contar acerca de lo entusiasmado que estoy por esta historia, pero ¿a quién le importa mi entusiasmo, después de todo?

En fin. Eso no importa demasiado en este momento. Me gustaría que vos vayas descubriendo este cómic al mismo tiempo que yo también lo hago. Por eso, lo único que puedo decir de momento acerca de este cómic es que se trata de una gran metáfora. Un truco, un espejismo. Una máscara. Bueno, esta historia va a estar llena de máscaras. Nuestro personaje principal, de hecho, va a llevar máscaras todo el tiempo y dudo que alguna vez podamos ver su rostro.

Mientras tanto, debo decir las cuestiones de rigor: a partir de mañana y todos los martes vas a poder leer en tu pantalla un nuevo episodio acerca de un adolescente sin rostro que inicia un viaje y aprende la lección de su vida. Una sinopsis bastante apretada, ¿no?

El método de actualización es muy simple: cada martes será un episodio. Cuatro episodios hacen un capítulo. Al final de cada mes vas a tener la opción de descargar un archivo .pdf donde vas a poder leer el capítulo entero. En este blog vas a poder leer la versión en castellano, pero paralelamente vas a poder leer la versión en inglés en un blog hecho únicamente para esto. Y así hasta el final de la historia, que no sé cuándo será. Mientras escribo estas líneas desconozco cualquier final. Sólo sé que me estoy divirtiendo como un gusano. Espero que vos también te diviertas leyéndola.

It's a sunny Monday afternoon and I’m sitting in front of my computer writing this introduction and trying to convince you to visit this blog tomorrow. Why tomorrow? Well, tomorrow I’ll be posting my new comic called The Punk Boy's Aneurysm, as I've been promoting the last two weeks. But to be honest, I have nothing to tell you. I mean yes, I have plenty to tell about how excited I am by this story, but who cares about my enthusiasm, after all?

Whatever. That does not really matter at this time. I wish you to discover this comic at the same time I do. So all I can say about it for now is that it’s a big metaphor. A trick. An illusion. A mask. Actually, this story will be full of masks. Our main character, in fact, is going to wear masks all the time. I doubt we can ever see his face.

Meanwhile, you should know: starting tomorrow, every Tuesday you’ll be able to read a new episode of the story about a faceless teenager who embarks on a journey and learns the lesson of his life. Tight synopsis, huh?

The update method is very simple: an episode will be posted every Tuesday. Four episodes make a chapter. At the end of each month, you'll have the option of downloading a .pdf file compiling the whole chapter. You can read the Spanish version in this blog, and you’ll also be able to follow the English version in its own separate blog. And so until the end, but I don’t know when that’ll be. As I’m writing these lines, I don't know how this comic ends. I just know that I'm having a lot of fun. I hope you have fun reading it too.
